Who Am I?

Jeff Patton is my name and teaching/training is my game! I am originally from Pittsford, MI, and lived in Michigan most of my life until I decided to take a risk a move to a place I had never been: Music City, Nashville, TN. Back in Michigan, I attended Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education with Secondary Teacher Certification. During my time at Siena, I was recognized as the 2007 Business Education Student of the Year.

Fresh out of college, I accepted my first full time job as a manager with Fossil, Inc. After a few years went by I decided to transition out of retail and into education. I taught middle and high school technology at Michigan Collegiate Middle/High School from 2009 to 2012. Educational Technology is a passion of mine. I am interested in educational technology at many levels; from a typical school environment to corporate. I would love the opportunity to intertwine my two passions at some point: Educational Technology and Animal Welfare. To enhance my skills and upgrade my provisional teaching certificate, I enrolled in a master's program in 2011. In December 2012, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I have since transitioned back into retail management. Currently, I am a Store Manager at Asics.
On a more personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dog. I have a Lhasa Poo named Marlan who I adopted from a rescue agency 10 years ago. Marlan and I have been in Nashville for over 3 years now, and we are still figuring out all of the things this charming city has to offer!
